Innsbruck is the capital of Tyrol, a internationally recognized leisure and skiing destination and the fifth-largest city in Austria. Located right on the River Inn, at its junction with the Wipp Valley, Innsbruck’s history dates back to early Stone Age. The earliest traces found in the area suggest that initial inhabitation of the spot that’s now Innsbruck could have happened thousands of years before.
Innsbruck today is a beautiful city thanks to the architectural enrichment accumulated during phases of sound money. Today the city is a vibrant economy and premium tourist destination.
